Mido Multi Centerchrono Ref. 2690
Mido Multicenterchrono reference 2690, dating to around 1950 and housed in an approximately 35mm, 20-micron gold-plated case. The hand-wound Mido calibre 1300 places the chronograph seconds and elapsed-minute hands on the central axis rather than in separate subdials. Mido began series production of this arrangement in 1941, creating a chronograph with an unusually clean and elegant look. It features the iconic "Tasti Tondi" pushers, making it part of a small, exclusive family.
The dial has developed a warm, even patina, while the round pushers preserve the compact profile associated with mid-century chronographs. At the time of cataloguing, the chronograph starts, stops and resets cleanly. The watch is presented on an original Beyer-signed leather strap.
