Girard-Perregaux Equation Perpétuelle in stainless steel and 18k yellow gold, dating to 1987 and measuring approximately 36mm across by only 7mm thick. The octagonal gold bezel and integrated two-tone bracelet place it within the design language of the second-generation Laureato, but the dial is devoted to something more unusual: a perpetual calendar with date, moon phase, leap-year cycle and an indication connected to the months, seasons and signs of the zodiac.

The decorated quartz calibre is visible through a display caseback. It comes from a period when Girard-Perregaux treated quartz as a platform for complication rather than simply a means of reducing cost or thickness.
